A Stunning Art Deco purpleish-pink cranberry to raspberry colored, hand blown art glass vase with a unique geometric fan shape, ca. Has ground pontil mark on bottom with texture and is believed to be crystal glass, designed by Peter Behrens.
This was and is believed to be Bohemian Luxury Moser Glassworks, although we do not have any archives to conclusively support this. This incredible vase is unsigned, or at least I haven't found a mark. The top (rim) of this vase is so unique and different from anything I've ever seen, is ground and perfectly polished. There are some similar vases produced around the same period by Val St Lambert, Sowerby, and Loetz as well, however, this is a piece of art glass unlike any other examples I've found.Approximate Measurements: 7" H x 3" W (at the widest point) x 2 D CONDITION: Excellent, no chips, cracks, repairs. Shows several small trapped bubbles, has the old wavy glass appearance. This eliminates any scams or discrepancies.
